Home…Let me go home.

This song has been running through my head of late, on repeat.  Its catchy, jangly, raucousness syncs with your heart and compels you to listen.  The rest of the album is good too, but Home is the standout.

Louis ArmstrongA Kiss to Build a Dream On into Blueberry Hill

I have been working on a production of Sartre’s No Exit and at the end of every performace I find myself singing this medly.  I don’t know why.  No Exit is about people in hell, and these songs are so lovely.  Perhaps its my ironic subconsicous.  Enjoy.

Perhaps it is the cold North Atlantic nights that make me need a little warmth.  Tom Waits will fill your world with fire.  He is the heart beating in my chest, creating a whole world of love, lost, found, and forgotten.  He is the buddha on the road.  He can offer the reflection of your innermost desires.  He can help you see yourself.  He also makes some good music
